HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all you mammas, aunties, pet-parents, and nurturing types. You don’t have to be a mother to add joy and value to the lives of those you encounter. My friend (since passed) told me it is a special gift to be able to pass along our wisdom to those who follow. She called it croning and was a loving, giving, sharing crone of the first order. I dedicate this Mother’s Day to her, Joann. My best friend, mentor, and surrogate mom. The gifts she gave me were beyond compare, both the visible and the invisible. One of the best gifts she gave me was her unconditional acceptance and love. Please pass it along to those you encounter, it is a wonderful gift you give to them and to yourself.
