Shrink art revisited

Another shot of some shrink art charms and the charm bracelet I made using them. The fish are my original art and are subject to copyright infringement if duplicated without my permission.

Thanks.

OOOO love your fishes... how do you 'shrink' your art work like that? Is that the fusible paper that Delphi sell? If not... I gotta know how you did those... they are so darn cute.

Thanks gals, I used shrink art by RoseArt from Michael's. It comes in a kit with colored pencils and a bunch of little kid race cars and stuff you can lay under it and trace. Of course I went off on my own and drew beachy stuff on mine. It shrinks really easily in a toaster oven or your regular range. Doesn't take but a minute or two to "bake" and flatten out. Make sure you put the hole in first unless you want to drill through some really thick plastic. It shrinks way down and thickens up a lot. Really fun way to make charms, plus you can make all sort of things besides charms. A lady was telling me how she had used it to make little "triptych" folding "icons" in a garden theme. Like the old Russian icons, but for an "altar piece" in your home. Or just for decor.
